Youth Programming

We offer a variety of programs for Junior High and Senior High Youth.

Programs for Junior High and Senior High youth are run by the youth and their advisors. Youth leadership roles are encouraged and supported throughout the program in ways that are appropriate for the ages and maturity of the youth. Program topics range from Unitarian Universalist Identity and various aspects of spirituality and world religions to relationship issues and the environment. Hands-on social justice projects are also a component of the program.

A Senior High program and a Junior High program are offered on an on-going basis during the 11:30 a.m. Sunday morning worship service. Several other offerings occur at times other than Sunday morning; these offerings vary and can include a Coming of Age Program, Our Whole Lives – a Human Sexuality Program, evening youth programs and events, and opportunities for intergenerational interaction.
