Please join us for a presentation by representatives of Nonviolent Peaceforce (NP). NP is a nonpartisan unarmed peacekeeping force composed of trained civilians from around the world. In partnership with local groups, NP members apply proven nonviolent strategies to protect human rights, deter violence, and help create space for local peacemakers to carry out their work. Also, we will update you on the latest with the Global Marshall Plan as we move forward to enact GMP legislation and talk about other activities of the Network of Spiritual Progressives. Come early at 1:30 p.m. to network and to get to know others; the meeting will begin at 2:00 p.m.
