My name is Cecil Hawkins. My wife, Sally, son Wesley, and I have been coming to First Church for 12 or more years. You've seen me serving coffee and snacks during Social Hour on the first Sunday of the month, you've seen Sally ushering, and you've seen and heard Wesley playing piano and organ at various services.
Sally and I have taught R.E. (almost every level, except Jr. and Sr. high). I work as a database administrator for Cubic Transportation Systems. We support mass transit systems in many major cities, including San Diego, New York, Atlanta, and Brisbane, Australia.
I look forward to serving (again) on the Nominating Committee. This has been a rewarding experience.
