Since becoming a member in 1991, I have made valued friendships, especially through activities. I helped organize the Dynamic Duos, served on Church Administrator Search committee, Staffing and Visioning Task Forces, Chaired the Personnel Relations Committee, Pledge Drives, attended the Ministry Team Council, and currently Co-Chair the Generosity Ministry Team, charged with assuring income for church operations.
During my career, I helped create/fund the second Federally Qualified HMO, served as liaison for various public/private sector initiatives, created a statewide health database, and was President/CEO of National Health Management Corporation.
First Church adds immeasurably to my life. I appreciate the importance placed on inclusiveness and diversity. Our community is blessed with intellectually and spiritually stimulating ministers, great music, and an extraordinarily caring membership. I look forward to opportunities to “give back” when possible, and was pleased to respond to a request to run as Treasurer.
