My family started attending First Church in February 1995 and joined that May. I have served on several committees and tasks forces. I've been an R.E. teacher and am currently a youth advisor and O.W.L (Our Whole Lives) leader.
I am serving out the term for a board trustee that needed to step down and I am running to fill that position for the next two years.
First Church is my home away from home, one of the few places where I feel that I can be authentic. This community is my community. I feel compelled to be a part of it and working to keep it as welcoming to others as it has been to me and my family.
