Our family's early spiritual and social commitments revolved around activities at the San Dieguito UU Fellowship. As a lay-led society until 1984, they included everything from creating the "village" environment for raising small children to building maintenance.
After having been residents of Cardiff since 1967, Pete and I moved to San Diego seeking a larger, welcoming congregation becoming members in 1994. We joined the local PFLAG organization after our son had come out to us as a young gay adult because we wanted to be involved in the community.
At First Church I have been involved in annual Pledge Campaigns, the Committee on Ministry, and the Ombuds Committee. I served on the Board at San Dieguito as Church President for two years and I have attended Leadership Training School.
Professionally, I have held financial management positions in both small design firms and large aerospace companies.
I look forward to this next adventure at First Church!
