Young Adults (ages 18-35) are involved in many facets of First UU Church of San Diego. In addition to the opportunities described below, young adults serve as Religious Education leaders, on the Intern Committee, in Social Justice groups, on the Board of Trustees, as ushers, in the choirs, on district committees and are involved in special projects.
The YACM Coordinator is Alice King. You may reach her at alice@firstuusandiego.org or uuking@ucsd.edu or by calling 619-947-4610. Please let us know how we may help you find a home here.

BRIDGING
Yes! There is life and connection after YRUU. The Bridging Ceremony symbolizes that connection and it is held in the Spring, usually around Memorial Day. If you are eighteen and/or will soon graduate from high school, plan to attend THE BRIDGING WORKSHOP on April 19. Contact Alice King at 619-947-4610 to register. We’ll explore possibilities after youth group, talk about what it means to be a UU Young Adult and moving from youth into adulthood. And there’s Pizza!
Going away to college? Moving? Stay connected. Find out how at the Bridging Workshop.
